Thirty years ago two iconic sports cars debuted at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show – the Acura NSX and Mazda MX-5 Miata. While Acura has put on a small celebration at this year’s show, Mazda has decided to release a special MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary Edition.

The 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary Edition is painted in a unique Racing Orange and gets other goodies, like Rays forged aluminum wheels, orange brake calipers, Bilstein dampers and a 30th Anniversary badge. Inside the orange theme continues and Recaro seats and a Bose audio system have also been added. There’s also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

If you want one you better act fast, since Mazda is only planning to build 3,000 units, which will be sold worldwide. The 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary Edition is available in either the soft-top or RF bodystyles.
