We’ve been so excited the past few weeks about some of Ford’s latest new models, like the Bronco, F-150 and Mustang Mach-E that we forgot all about Ford’s car side of the business. Well it’s basically done now, since Ford quietly ended production of the Ford Fusion at the end of last month.

According to Ford Authority, the last Ford Fusion rolled off the production line in Hermosillo, Mexico on July 31. The Ford Fusion first arrived as a 2006 model and the second generation arrived for the 2013 model year. The Fusion may get revived by a new crossover-wagon that Ford is reportedly working on, which might be called the Fusion Active.
Production of the Lincoln MKZ has also ended, which leaves only one sedan left, the Lincoln Continental. The Continental won’t be around much longer either, since Lincoln recently confirmed that production will end by the end of this year.
