It’s being reported that Cadillac will increase its lineup to 10 models by 2016 with the introduction of a new flagship sedan, small crossover and a smaller model to compete with the BMW 1 Series.
Cadillac is on a role right now with the 2013 Cadillac ATS being named North American Car of the Year and the introduction of the 2014 ELR, which borrows its powertrain from the Chevy Volt. WHat’s next for Cadillac? It’s being reported that GM has big plans for Cadillac, which will see Cadillac’s lineup doubling over the next four years. It’s being reported that Cadillac will increase its lineup to 10 models by 2016 with the introduction of a new flagship sedan, small crossover and a smaller model to compete with the BMW 1 Series.
“We’re saying it over and over and over that we want Cadillac to be a truly global luxury brand,” Bob Ferguson, vice president of global Cadillac, said in an interview at the Detroit auto show. “We have the core of a very good product set now and we’re working hard at examining the options to make it even better. You can expect a more robust lineup.”
Cadillac is currently working on a new flagship rear-wheel-drive sedan for 2015, dubbed the LTS. We can also expect a coupe version of the ATS and don’t forget about the all-new 2014 CTS.
