In addition to the 2015 BMW M4 Convertible, X4 crossover and the 4-Series Gran Coupe, BMW has announced that it is also going to unveil an updated version of the Concept X5 eDrive plug-in hybrid at the New York Auto Show.
In addition to the 2015 BMW M4 Convertible, X4 crossover and the 4-Series Gran Coupe, BMW has announced that it is also going to unveil an updated version of the Concept X5 eDrive plug-in hybrid at the New York Auto Show.
As BMW continues to refine the plug-in hybrid version of the X5, BMW says that the “concept study has undergone a series of detailed refinements in preparation for its appearance” at the New York Auto Show.

BMW hasn’t revealed the updates, but we do know that the plug-in hybrid is powered by a turbocharged 245-hp 2.0L four-cylinder and a 95-hp electric motor. On the European cycle the system gets up to 61 mpg and when fully charged it can travel up to 18 miles in electric mode at speeds up to 75 mph.
