Volvo has announced the pricing for the 2022 C40 Recharge electric crossover, which starts at $59,845, including destination, but before any federal or state tax credits. The C40 Recharge is based on the same platform as the XC40 Recharge, but it has a more coupe-like roofline.

The C40 will only be available in one trim level, Ultimate, while the XC40 is available in both Plus and Ultimate trims. The C40 Recharge comes standard with a panoramic sunroof, LED lighting, Pilot Assist, a Harman Kardon audio system 360-degree Surround View Camera, the Android Operating System with Google imbedded and unique 20” wheels.
The C40 has a range of 210 miles, which is lower than its main rivals, the Tesla Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach E.
Pre-orders for the 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge began online in March 2021 and production will begin this fall. The first U.S. deliveries are planned for the fourth quarter of 2021.
