If you’ve been wanting to get a new Ford Explorer, you may want to wait until the 2021 Ford Explorer arrives, since a new report claims that its get a price cut.

According to Ford Authority, the 2021 Ford Explorer is getting price cuts for all its trim levels. The base rear-wheel drive 2021 Explorer will start at $32,225, which is $540 cheaper than the 2020 Explorer. Moving up the lineup, the XLT versions get a $2,925 price cut and the 2020 Explorer Limited RWD starts $2,675 less than last year’s Explorer.
The 2021 Explorer ST starts at $2,135 less than the 2020 version. The Platinum trim level is getting a massive $3,770 price cut, which brings its starting price down to $54,480 and the rear-wheel drive Explorer hybrid is $2,675 cheaper at $49,855.
There won’t be any big updates to the 2021 Explorer other than some new color options and a few minor updates. An Explorer XLT Sport is also being introduced and there’s a chance that a more off-road ready Explorer is also coming that may use the FX4 badge.
