Bentley is celebrating the end of the Mulsanne and its 6.75-liter V8 with the special Mulsanne 6.75 Edition. You probably didn’t know that Bentley’s 6.75-liter V8 is the longest-serving V8 in continuous production in the world.
The Bentley Mulsanne 6.75 Edition is limited to 30 units and features gloss black brightware and headlamps and tail lamps wrapped in bright chrome. There are also dark tint treatments to the Flying B bonnet mascot, Mulliner Serenity radiator grille and exhaust finishers, while the 21” five-spoke Mulsanne Speed wheels have a unique bright-machined finish with gloss black pockets.
The engine intake manifold is finished in black instead the traditional silver, and the Engine Number Plaque is signed by Bentley’s Chairman and Chief Executive, Adrian Hallmark.
Inside there are four single tone hides options – Imperial Blue, Beluga, Fireglow and Newmarket Tan. A bespoke color split adds accents in Silver across the cabin through seat piping, around the center console, deep pile overmat bindings, and the accent color showing through the perforated hide to the seats and door inserts. The center console and rear cabin console are finished in silver-painted veneer and a unique metal commemorative plaque has been added to the front console.
Production of the Mulsanne will end in the spring, which means the Flying Spur will now serve as the brand’s flagship.
