A few days ago Lincoln hinted that it’s bringing back its suicide doors and now we have our first look. Lincoln previewed a refreshed Lincoln Continental with suicide doors a few months ago at its dealer meeting in Las Vegas and luckily someone snapped a grainy photo.

Lincoln Coach Door Continental

The Lincoln Coach Door Continental, will officially bring back the iconic center opening doors from the 1960s to help the Continental stand out in the luxury sedan segment. As we can see here the suicide doors are likely going to debut on the refreshed Continental, which will likely arrive as a 2020 model.

Since the Continental isn’t getting a full redesign, the suicide doors will retain the B-pillar. We’ll get more info soon, but the Coach Door Continental will likely only be an option, so if you’d rather have traditional front hinged doors, they will probably still be standard.
