Late last year Hyundai unveiled the 2026 Palisade in Korea, but now Hyundai has unveiled the US-spec version at the New York Auto Show.

2026 Hyundai Palisade

The 2026 Palisade features a bolder look than the last generation, while also making it look more luxurious. It’s also bigger than before with a wheelbase that is 2.7-inches longer, while the overall length has been stretched 2.5-inches.

The extra length provides more legroom for the second and third-rows. The Palisade has up to eight seats if you choose the second-row bench seat, while second row captain’s chairs are available lowering the number of seats to seven.

Under the hood the Palisade comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 with 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front or all-wheel drive is available.

The big news is the Palisade will also be offered with a hybrid powertrain for the first time, which features a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to generate a combined 329 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid powertrain is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and it’s available with either front- or all-wheel drive.

A new XRT Pro version is also available, which is a more rugged version with 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, an extra inch of ground clearance with a raised suspension and an electronic limited-slip rear differential.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade V6 models will arrive this summer, while the hybrid version will arrive in the fall.
