Rolls-Royce has revealed the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, an update to the second-generation Ghost introduced in 2021.

Outside, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II receives numerous changes, some more obvious than others. The most conspicuous of these is a new front-end design featuring a softened overall look with reshaped headlights and a simplified front bumper. The front also receives a new illuminated “Pantheon” grille.

The profile of the Series II remains largely unchanged, with the traditionally long hood and formal greenhouse—new taillights with 3D lighting elements inspired by the Spectre EV freshen the rear.

A plethora of new wheel designs round out the exterior changes, and of course, buyers will be able to select from a nearly infinite number of color options to make it entirely their own. As with nearly all Rolls-Royce updates, it’s a subtle refresh of an instantly recognizable silhouette.

Rolls-Royce has been doing luxury for a very long time, and the interior of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II doesn’t stray far from the brand’s established design language, which is a very good thing. The dash gets a new glass panel spanning the entire width of the cabin, not unlike that found in the larger Phantom. Behind this panel sits a digital driver’s display, a central infotainment display, an analog clock featuring the spirit of ecstasy, and an illuminated panel in front of the passenger seat.

The brand’s new “Spirit” operating system controls those screens and features improved streaming and connectivity functions, allowing owners to remote start their vehicles from the “Whispers” app, send navigation destinations, and control the climate remotely. Buyers will also find an upgraded 18-speaker ultra-premium sound system with 1400 watts of power (up from 1300).

New interior materials are available with an emphasis on sustainability – a grey stained ash wood trim option is joined by a new fabric dubbed “Duality Twill.” This new textile option is made from bamboo, a notoriously sustainable material, which Rolls says took years to develop and adds 20 hours to the build process due to it requiring 11 miles of thread and 2.2 million stitches. You didn’t expect Rolls-Royce to do cloth seats the easy way, did you?

Motivation for the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II remains the same as the Series I – a twin-turbocharged 6.8-liter V-12 delivering 563 hp. This engine will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard. In either case, that should be more than enough power to make sure the new Ghost never feels a want for speed.

Like the Series I, Series II models will also include a standard self-leveling suspension system with adjustable dampers and air springs, which has been updated with a new wishbone damper at the front. Rolls says this change helps the Series II deliver better composure over rough surfaces, something the Series I never seemed to struggle with, but Rolls-Royce is known to always be looking for new ways to make their ride even more sublime.

Rolls-Royce also announced the Black Badge Ghost Series II, which, in addition to the aforementioned updates, adds plenty of carbon fiber accents and darkened chrome trim along with unique seven-spoke 22-inch wheels and an up-tuned version of the standard V12 making 591 hp. Black Badge models also get a slightly sportier transmission tuning with faster shifts. In addition to the Black Badge, a long wheelbase version adds 6.7 inches of rear legroom, perfect for those looking to be chauffeured in something a bit more demure (or at least smaller) than a Phantom.

Buyers can order their new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II today with prices starting at $355,000, excluding destination fee.
