Volkswagen has unveiled the updates to the 2025 Jetta and Jetta GLI. The big news is the 2025 Jetta gets updated front and rear fascias, an updated interior and a lower starting price.

2025 Volkswagen Jetta

At the front there are new upper and lower grille designs, new LED headlights and an available light bar. At the rear there’s a new trunk lid with a standard light bar that connects the taillights. Lastly there are new 17- and 18-inch wheel designs and two new color options: Monterey Blue Pearl and Monument Gray.

Inside the Jetta’s cabin gets a new dashboard with a floating 8-inch infotainment touchscreen. Automatic climate control is now standard and SE models also get wireless charging, voice control and satellite radio, which was previously only available on SEL models.

The Jetta S comes standard with either Titan Black or Storm Grey cloth seats, while Sport models gets embossed cloth seats that debuted in the GLI 40th Edition. SE models feature perforated, two-tone Microcloud leatherette seating seats, in either Grey/Titan Black or Seawall Blue/Storm Grey combinations with Horizon Black. SEL models feature perforated Vienna leather seats in either Grey/Titan Black or a new Brown/Titan Black color combination, with Horizon Black decor.  The Sport Jetta GLI gets new perforated Vienna leather seating seats in Grey/Red Crust/Titan Black with red contrast stitching, alongside Magnum matte decor.

2025 Volkswagen Jetta

Under the hood, the Jetta is powered by a 1.5-liter, 158-hp turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Jetta GLI is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which can be mated to either a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox.

The 2025 VW Jetta will arrive by the end of Q3 2024. The pricing for the 2025 Jetta starts at $21,995, plus destination.
