Mercedes-AMG has unveiled a very special version of the SL 63, called the 2024 Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Manufaktur Big Sur Edition. The automaker says that the special SL 63 is “inspired by the breathtaking sunsets of the Pacific Coast.”
The Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Manufaktur Big Sur is painted in a striking Orange Flame Metallic. The exterior also gets the AMG Exterior Chrome Package, which adds black brake calipers, a black soft top, and black 21-inch AMG Forged Cross-Spoke wheels.
Inside the seats are wrapped in hand stitched Mystic Red/Black Nappa leather with orange contrast stitching to match the exterior. It also gets the active multicontour seats with a massaging feature.
The special edition AMG SL 63 is powered by a 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine with 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, that’s mated to a 9-speed transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph is achieved in 3.5 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 196 mph.
