We’ve already seen a few leaked photos of the 2021 Nissan Rogue thanks to a few posts on social media and now we have some early specs to talk about. CarsDirect has uncovered the power and fuel economy specs for the redesigned 2021 Rogue.

2021 Nissan Rogue Leak

Currently the Rogue is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. of torque. CarsDirect found a document that was for fleet customers that claims that that the 2021 Rogue will have 180 horsepower and 184 lb-ft. of torque. Since those aren’t huge improvements over the current Rogue, the 2021 Rogue is likely just getting an updated version of the current 2.5-liter engine.

Those specs give the Rogue a bit more power, but its still below what you’ll find in the Honda CR-V with its 190 horsepower and the Toyota RAV4, which has 203 horsepower. Even the Mazda CX-5’s base engine has 187 horsepower.

The 2021 Rogue will also be more fuel efficient with the combined rating for the front-wheel drive version increasing from 29 mpg to 30 mpg. This means the 2021 Rogue will be just as fuel efficient as the CR-V and RAV4, which also have a 30 mpg combined rating.

Nissan hasn’t announced when the 2021 Rogue will debut, since it was supposed to debut last month at the New York Auto Show.
