Honda is getting ready to introduce the next-generation 2022 Honda Civic next spring, so its no surprise that the 2021 Civic Hatchback carries over into the new model year without any changes.
The 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback is offered in four trim levels: LX, Sport, EX and Sport Touring. The base LX starts at $22,955, while the top spec Sport Touring tops out at $30,155, including the destination fees.
The LX and EX trim levels are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 174 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, while the Sport and Sport Touring get the same engine but with 180 hp. If you opt for the six-speed manual transmission on the Sport and Sport Touring the torque rating has also increased to 177 lb-ft. A CVT is standard on the LX and EX trim levels, while it’s optional on the Sport and Sport Touring models.
